The Town Manager is appointed by, and serves at the pleasure of, the Town Council and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Town. The role of the Town Manager is to execute the policies and programs established by the Town Council and to provide administrative leadership and management of municipal operations.

About the Town Manager

Josh Wright was named Town Manager on November 10, 2011. An Arizona native, Mr. Wright previously served as Director of Strategic Initiatives and Assistant to the Town Manager for the Town of Marana, Arizona, where he oversaw economic development, special events, intergovernmental affairs, strategic planning, and communications for one of the fastest growing communities in the state.

He began his public service career with The University of Arizona in Tucson. He is an active member of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) and a Past President of the Arizona City/County Management Association (ACMA). Mr. Wright holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) and undergraduate degrees from The University of Arizona.
